With pianist Boris Kusnezow at her side, our compatriot violinist Sylvia Huang advanced to the final of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2019. They are reuniting on stage at Flagey with a program where old and new harmoniously blend. The romantic works of Schumann and Franck find their counterpart in Schönberg's Fantasie, one of his last completed pieces using the twelve-tone technique. Moreover, a must-discover is the Deux Morceaux by Lili Boulanger, a French contemporary of Schönberg.
