As the son of artist Eva Aeppli and an assistant to Jean Tinguely, Felix grew up in the vibrant Paris of the 1960s. Later, he followed in the footsteps of the Beat Generation, from New York and London to Ibiza and India. Together with his great love Loretta, he chose a nomadic existence, far removed from conventions. With four children, they built a life in which freedom, creativity, and time were more important than possessions.

When Felix discovered tattooing in the late seventies, he found a new artistic language. What began as a way to finance their travels grew into a revolutionary livelihood and the founding of the legendary Leu Family Iron, a name that today commands worldwide respect within the international tattoo scene.

Through Loretta's warm and personal voice, an exceptional family chronicle unfolds about love, art, raising children outside the box, and the courage to choose your own path. An inspiring portrait of a man who never stopped dreaming and an ode to everyone who refuses to be pinned down.
