TJE

After a year in which they grew into one of the country's most exciting new names, TJE is now setting full course toward an international breakthrough. Their debut album 'SCHADE' was named by De Morgen, among others, as one of the standout Belgian records of 2026, confirming what has long been clear live: TJE is not a band you can simply brush aside.

The Brussels-based trio, consisting of Lindy Versyck, Melvin Slabbinck and Klaas Leyssen, balances effortlessly between electronica, avant-pop, post-rock and experimentation. Hypnotic basslines, pulsing electronica and Versyck's spellbinding voice create an intense live trip that feels as raw as it is vulnerable. Think: the tension of Björk, the atmosphere of FKA twigs, and a fully distinct universe somewhere in between.

With striking appearances at Best Kept Secret, Reeperbahn, Fifty Lab and Left of the Dial, among others, TJE proved this past year that their reputation is well-earned.

The fact that TJE has been artist in residence at Het Depot since 2025 feels like a natural fit. Based in Leuven, they continue building their unique sound and have grown into a live band that impresses both at home and abroad, with appearances at Best Kept Secret, Reeperbahn, Fifty Lab and Left of the Dial, among others.

On Monday, October 5, they bring 'SCHADE' to Het Depot for a show that will be hypnotic, immersive and confronting all at once. A home match!
