I bet you listen to music. Everyone does. Enjoys it in one form or another. Music is one of the few things we all have in common. We listen to it when we're sad, happy, enthusiastic or bored. Sad, happy, enthusiastic or bored can be states, among others, that rogergoon finds himself in when producing his music. Perhaps these are also feelings we can experience when listening to it : the range is infinite and indefinable by the musician. The range of compositional methods is just as wide and blurry : lucky pianotages, numerous and varied samplings, failed copies, pure and amateur guitar recordings, unstructured, restructured recordings, additions and removal of layers, drum overlays, stretched or compressed time, drowned or dry vocals... All these techniques to achieve a specific desired sound on monday — a soft ambientish piano sound — and a completely different one on tuesday — a heavy bass trap inspired unexpected sound — that merge together on wednesday.

Wandering in the Brussels alternative scene since a few years, not an easy task to catch live since such opportunities are rare, shyness tricking him, rogergoon released in June 2026 his second body of work : Zero, a 16 tracks album, making a clear turn in his sound and musical approach. 16 tracks, 16 vibes. The heterogeneity is counterbalanced by a common thread of sonorities and techniques that bind the pieces together. His live shows are most of the time centered around his drumless work, with ambient versions of the more energetic ones.
