Brussels-based band Purrses is a glam wave/art rock female-fronted group with a wide eclectic range of influences.

Blinding 70's / 80's rock music, punk-rooted energy with a modern twist: glam rock grooves meet teasing pop alongside rap-ish lyricism.

Keen ear for both weirdness sonics and pop stylistics, it’s quite special to describe, this is an entrance to Laura's world, who writes, composes and produces the music. Inevitably, her influences merged and got tinged with all the peculiarities that define Brussels' alternative and underground scene.

This five-piece band is carving its own path in the indie scene. They’ve been performing since 2022 with highlights including Windmill Brixton (UK), Microfestival (BE), Point Ephémère (FR), Absolutely Free Festival (BE), Reflektor (BE) and Left of the Dial (NL). Live shows are fun yet sexy, tense and groovy.

After a first auto-produced debut EP and a full analogue-recorded second EP « Wrong Tide » released on three indie Belgian labels (Jaune Orange, Rockerill Records, Belly Button Records), the highly anticipated debut album called Reality Fantasy is set to be released this spring.
