In 2009, Hussein Shikha - graphic designer, writer and researcher - moved from Iraq to Antwerp. Today, he still works from our dear city and focuses in experimental film, animation, textiles and interactive installations.
During 'Dear Antwerp', he presents performances, talks and films as if they were excavations of visual languages that have long been misunderstood or completely invisible. In this way, Shikha wants to open up the field of global historiography with an eye for new and ignored perspectives.
