When a drummer starts listening to Paul Simon, in a garage box, in Moscou. Sgetti Legs is the latest project from drummer Siemon Theys (The Guru Guru).

Armed with two sticks and a microphone, he brings both groove and melody to the forefront. Together with Owen Perry Weston, Hanne Vandekerckhove and Bart Baele, the band weaves pulsing beats with melodic earworms, layered vocals, and unexpected textures — with the occasional banjo twang.

Sgetti Legs carves out its own space within alternative pop.
