How would you describe what you do?
I create chimerical objects.
What are you currently busy with?
My series of monstrous earthenware bags.
Anything planned for the future?
It’s better not to anticipate too much. But, exhibitions, great encounters, and especially the edition of my first monograph.

Nickname(s) people have given you?
Nana – not very original but it’s cute, a bit like a manga name.
Latest déjà vu?
National strike day: I walk to work, the rays of the sunshine through the Japanese cherry blossoms, and feel warm.
Any new habits?
Start the day by going to the post office.

What’s your daily routine like?
A typical day: shower, coffee with the cat, drop off parcels, work/studio, come home exhausted, and send emails. Super exciting pace currently.
Weirdest dream you’ve had?
The dream I will never forget: I must have been ten years old. I’m in my parents’ car without a driver and I walk toward the entrance to this oddly dark forest. Then I find myself trapped in a storage room, between brooms and fools, with a crocodile. And every time I woke up without hearing the end of the story!
What artists are you listening to?
Oliver Tree, Charli XCX, YMA, Grimes, Car Seat Headrest, etc.

Favorite memory?
I have a lot of them, but the summer breakfasts with my family at my parents’ vacation home in Normandy are so lovely.
What advice would you give your younger/older self?
Self-confidence.
Favorite emoji?

Love of your life?
Sailor Moon. And my boyfriend Nelson, ha-ha.
Biggest personal change since last year?
The adoption of the third love of my life: my cat, Alaskka. Otherwise, my first show in the USA is cool too.
How did last year change your perspective?
I’m a very organized person, the sanitary circumstances of this year allowed me to conceive a certain level of letting go.
Are you a nostalgic person?
Yes – but a very positive nostalgia.
