Feral Reverie is an experimental choreography, a system lovingly designed to fail. On stage, three dancers move alongside pigeons – neither metaphor nor prop, but co-conspirators in refusal. Together, they move through collapse, glitch, and evasion. The piece stages wildness not as chaos, but as a tactic for living otherwise, beyond control and resolution. This is where digital meets dirt, and performance refuses to behave. Choreography becomes a kind of soft sabotage, a code gone dirty, a glitch with agency, a mode of being that doesn't need to make sense to make life. Feral Reverie asks: What trembles beneath the algorithm, beneath the demand to mean something? What would happen if wildness left us behind?
about
Parvin Saljoughi works at the intersection of visual arts (BA), choreography (MA), and artistic research in socio-political contexts. Her work orbits the body—its complicities, leakages, and disappearances-in-plain-sight. Questions of belonging, loss, mistranslation, and inherited noise don’t merely frame her work; they press through it, as lived residue more than concept. In 2023, Parvin was an IF Berlin fellow, with work supported and co-produced by Flash Art, Live Works VOL.07, Batard Festival, and Tashweesh. She has held residencies at PACT Zollverein, Beursschouwburg, workspacebrussels, Centrale Fies, Mousonturm, Kunstenwerkplaats, and BUDA. Her choreographic works Make Sense Who May, I Switch Off, and Temporarily Closed premiered at Beursschouwburg. Originally from Tehran, Parvin now lives in Brussels—an alien, in more than one sense.
