Seppe Vande Veire sings about navigating between a firework of overstimulation and the quietest island on the ocean. In his latest work, the low timbre of his voice takes center stage, accompanied by playful arrangements and a bittersweet undertone. Heartache and urgency on a sultry summer evening.
Cyriel Vandenabeele is a Ghent-based musician who has become a fixture in the Belgian alternative music scene. You’ll hear him in numerous projects – including Suwi, Kosmo Sound, Verhalen, and Elias – with whom he has toured across Europe in recent years. Cyriel’s style is defined by his love for simplicity and restraint. Especially as a live guitarist, he's known for his subtle sense of dynamics, always seeking – and finding – a connection with the listener. His talent for challenging the familiar, combined with his affection for jazz, Eastern European, Turkish, North and West African music, makes him a true master of the Belgian sound.
