In 2020, hence the double number, we’re serving you, hungry hearts, 2 editions of our acclaimed list. That’s right, we’re doubling the number of features, starting a bit earlier. What is the (near) future bringing you?
I’m working on something exciting, something new. Can’t say much about it yet, but hopefully, it will bring new opportunities and collaborations. Keep an eye on my socials to find out soon!
What are you up to these days?
I am rediscovering video and performance art. Trying new things and playing around with different media.
What artists are you listening to?
Tyler, The Creator, Beyoncé & Frank Ocean.
What makes your heart go faster these days?
Planning a trip for 2021. I love travelling, meeting new people, discovering new places and new cultures around the globe.
What are you doing daily at 9 pm/9 am?
9 am: scrolling the web for inspiration, browsing Instagram while I have my breakfast.
9 pm: most likely taking a long walk & meet with friends.

How do you bring some routine into your days?
I struggle a lot with the routine because I work from home, especially during the quarantine.
What’s your utopia?
A place like Naoshima, a Japanese art island. Naoshima is home to several contemporary museums designed by the groundbreaking architect Tadao Ando. The combination of concrete architecture and the surrounding nature is just perfect!
What satisfies you?
Fine dark chocolate (80% of cacao to be precise).
What’s your favourite lockdown book?
I’m currently reading Walk Through Walls: A Memoir by Marina Abramovic. She’s one of my favourite artists of all time.
What’s one of your sources of inspiration that may surprise people?
It could be the most absurd everyday object, like a plastic bottle.
Is there anyone in your scene who needs more attention?
My close friend Ipek Sipahi, she’s such a talented tattoo artist. You can find her on Instagram as @rottenyellowww and @rottenyellowtattoo. (She’s the model in my picture on this page.)
Comfort food/speciality dish now?
Everything Korean: always down for spicy noodles. I discovered Korean food during my round trip in South Korea last summer and I’m so obsessed with it!
