Doel 2026 spotlights niche creative haunts

The village of Doel will be teeming with performing and visual artistic muses gathered at this year’s cross-cultural festivities. 25.07.2026 is the day for noisy grooves, hypnotically blissful mixes and hardcore + deconstructed iterations of e-dance. With endless multisensory outlets available to take in onsite, the Doel Festival’s new lineup should generate as much history for the music scene as what was almost topographically decimated just earlier this decade. Look for some of our highlighted interdisciplinary Belgian rhythmic acts below!
Pala10
Demonstrating rapidly subdued atmospheric shifts in her booth, with features of deep bass, grime, and dubstep, resulting from previous genre-switching experimentation, Pala10 initially based her selections on dub and roots reggae vinyl. Sets pulling from multiple eras channel a dynamic clubgoing feeling that respects the reward of a gradual build, imbuing spaces with her shared moody haze.

JEKKAMAÏ
Nighttime venues hail JEKKAMAÏ for his pulsating percussive techno rhythms a la ghettotech, chosen to stimulate a packed house with melodies that tickle listeners to move while moving with its own sense of joie de vivre. This Brussels-based head and curator of SIZZLEPROOF, a collective which centers electronic artists of colour, has a gift for producing impactfully raw and sensual global trance music.

GAIKO & KŌMA
The frequent b2b collaborators and collective-minded radio aficionados sweep culturally representative bar stations and underground venues with their immersive forces of 90s pressure, IDM, and breakbeat; GAIKO, as a live mixer/instrumentalist, who expertly produces melodic jungle/bass/piano hybrid sessions for omnivert audiences to appreciate, while KŌMA garnishes garage and rave stylings with an entrancingly emotional danceability.

LOV
As a sharply vibrant track & beat navigator from Brussels, LOV is partial to Afro house, queer affinity, pop-culturally memorable bops and the feature of gamer bites while honouring genre influences which flow between break, dancehall, vogue, and rap, to name a few, sprinkled with airtight transitions. Their vast live performances with current legends have cemented their own impact on Belgium’s electronic scene.

Vera Moro
Dishing out refreshingly bubbly yet industrial arrangements, Vera Moro’s aptitude for hardgroove/guaracha-derived rhythms shines set after set, keeping her selection lineups varied enough to melt smoothly across booth-sharing artists. She mixes with a breezy precision in timing and bodily-enjoyable melodies that create infectious air plays and euphorically inclusive floors.
