'We Gaan Door!' uses an indestructible formula: the classic door comedy.
The audience follows an amateur troupe at their dress rehearsal. They are going to have a hard time, because one thing is crystal clear: the company is not ready yet. Not done with their characters, not done with their lines. And certainly not ready for their premiere.
In part 2, the decor turns 180 degrees and the confusion continues behind the scenes.
And just when people think it can't get any worse, part 3 brings everything to a head. ‘We are going Door!’ is a precisely timed absurdist comedy full of confusion, fun and misunderstandings, in which the characters and the audience have a stomach ache at the end of the evening from the stress and laughter respectively. Everything on stage is shattered, but your evening can't be broken anymore!
