Drumming saved Moene Peeters, and one day Moene Peeters might save drumming. Mentored by Belgium's bestest of the bestestestest of them all (Le Motel, AliA, and of course Lander Gyselinck), filmed by Leuven's own Willem Jones, and tonight – last but not least – in the stellar company of Roeland Celis (guitar), Soet Kempeneer (bass/keys), and Bruno De Smet (keys) for a live gig that will pulse through your veins for the rest of the year/future.

SLAGADER is an energetic quartet from Brussels and Leuven that brings together fusion, funky grooves and spacy synths. Their uptempo music combines jungle, jazz and electronica into a danceable and compelling whole. With dynamic live performances full of improvisation and rhythmic intensity, SLAGADER leaves a lasting impression. Their unique sound combines surprising harmonies and unpredictable rhythms and is irresistible to listeners and dance floors alike.
MOENE is 20 minute short film by cinematographer Willem Jones about drummer Moene Peeters, accompanying Moene's first EP Sessions 1 - 4 (Artisjok, 2026). A fearles showcase of anxiety, raw talent, autism, addiction, vulnerability, and pure dedication to a craft. The record and the film were presented for the first time at Stuk Leuven during Artefact 2026.
