Scenes Nouvelles Day 3

In November, the National Theater becomes Scènes nouvelles, an annual meeting for audiences and professionals, Belgian and international, to discover the best of multidisciplinary creation by emerging artists in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: theater, dance , performance art, theater for young audiences, contemporary circus.

Scènes nouvelles contributes to illuminating and sharing what permeates the strong and unique work of French-speaking Belgian artists. Not just a coup, Scènes nouvelles presents shows (too few) seen in Brussels and Wallonia, little or not at all abroad, with the desire to be long-term by co-constructing the programming with a e or several friendly partners – the Théâtre Varia for this first edition – and more broadly by strengthening the cultural and artistic network of the creative territories of Brussels and Wallonia.

The National Theater and its programming partners feel ready to initiate this transformation and to seize head-on a new ethic of relationships, in the service of creation.
