Peuk + Mitraille

PEUK guarantees pissed-off sludge pop with a solid Riot Grrrl at the head. The self-titled debut album sounds like an early Cat Power that got to borrow Sonic Youth's amps for a while. Live, PEUK emerged as a real revelation, with appearances at Sonic City, club gigs and a particularly hot festival summer with the appearances at Pukkelpop, Les Ardentes and Leffingeleuren among others. The Limburg trio likes to put a layer of tar on your soul and, when listened to, is as addictive as nicotine. Think Hole, think Pixies, Sonic Youth, The Breeders, ... Peuk's second album "Escape Somehow" will be released on 14 April on [PIAS].

Mitraille is a garage punk band from Antwerp. The trio mixes the dirtiest garage has to offer with angular, ultra-nervous postpunk and clunky DIY basement hardcore. There is one constant: going hard. Since the band made their entry into the local music scene in 2018, Mitraille has gone hard. The band has since released three EPs and a full album. 2022 proved to be the most active year. The band released the album 'Mitraille', which could count on a stream of rave reviews from at home and abroad. Currently, the band is working hard on new material (again: going hard) and a 10-day foreign tour is in the pipeline for autumn 2023.
