A former Glasgow art student and former Franz Ferdinand playmate, Joanne Robertson is a Scottish folk artist who sings alone, accompanied by her acoustic guitar. The Londoner by adoption, born in Manchester, made a name for herself in 2008 with "The Lighter", a first record full of light and dark melancholic rhymes carried by her fragile and indolent voice, deliciously scratched. Since then, projects have followed one another but the formula has remained the same. To all lovers of folk and guitar-vocal music, this concert is for you.
