His zero to hero quest at the one hand criticises the American colonialism and is at the same time a silly ode to Buster Keaton’s slapstick and the Looney Tunes. An endlessly inventive passion project of a couple of friends in beaver costumes. (Mel Gibson could learn a thing or two from them…)
