The South African trio, now settled in London, has built a modest fan base over the past few years with their catchy alternative indie songs that delve into the complexities of love, desire, and coming of age in the era of capitalism. Front woman Alison Rachel, a truth-seeker in a world of superficiality, draws inspiration from the intricate twists and turns of her interpersonal relationships. Their debut album, 'Sorry Like You Mean It,' is set to release on September 29th, offering a rich palette that will take you from dynamic psychedelic pop to invigorating electroclash odysseys, with occasional detours into gritty pop punk and afro pop-infused grooves.
