How would you describe what you do?
What I do could be described as trying to translate my connection with the source, God, as a means to inspire others to feel relatable and/or triggered.
What are you currently busy with?
I am currently mostly busy with getting my long-awaited EP out. All the songs are written, selected, re-selected, confirmed, and recorded.
Anything planned for the future?
After many compliments from my teacher on my writing style, who once told me my language could write books, it lingers in my mind. So every now and then, when I have more space in solitude, I write with that book in my mind.

Latest déjà vu?
I honestly wouldn't remember.
Any new habits?
Reminding myself every single day to not care so much about what anybody thinks of me and not tolerating nonsense, because we’re all dying and it’s a shame to drain one’s energy, trying to please a fellow mortal.

What’s your daily routine like?
The first word I say every morning when I wake up is, ‘Alhamdulillah’, while I remind myself I am still alive. From there I go with the flow and work my way through my unique schedule of the day, so I am not a routine girl AT ALL; I would get a bore-out – most definitely sooner than later – if so.
Weirdest dream you’ve had?
My dreams are always weird; I’ve had many dreams that came true in real life, mostly symbolically, but literally, too, I feel very connected with God even in the little things and I cherish this and care for it in a precious and intimate way.
What artists are you listening to?
Lately, I’m listening to my own songs to perfect them.
Favourite memory?
A memory, so dear it is to be preserved.
What advice would you give your younger/older self?
I would tell both my younger and older self to keep her child’s heart – always. And when she feels alone and unsafe to talk to anyone, she can find warmth and love in prayer.

It’s that dry smile with a teardrop; I only have it on WhatsApp, though.

It’s not the cutest, but I would love to swim with dolphins one day.
Love of your life?
Allah, the only one who had my back when I broke up with ganja, lol.
Biggest personal change since last year?
I stopped being annoyed and pissed off at myself being heartbroken and being so sensitive and started accepting it for what it is; it hurts, but I got bills to pay and places to go, plus Allah has blessed me so much, Al-hamdulillah, so...
How did last year change your perspective?
I realized how much more stable I am - mentally - than I thought, thanks to the isolation of the lockdown. And last, but not least, I understand and I am so grateful my art journey moves slowly, but surely because I’m not accepting what is against myself and my principles.

Are you a nostalgic person?
I’m very nostalgic, I’m stuck in the ’90s. What do you mean it’s 2021?
