The June issue usually gives way to a new 20-something list, featuring models, musicians, actors, illustrators, fashion designers, photographers, artists, architects,... and so much more. The people who are a representation of young society in Belgium, a generation ready to rule our world. In 2020, hence the double number, we’re serving you, hungry hearts, 2 editions of our acclaimed list. That’s right, we’re doubling the number of features, starting a bit earlier. Let us introduce you to the faces you didn't realise you wanted to meet!

Lordesteezus

Musician, Sint-Niklaas

What do we & our readers need to remember about you?

I will always be myself no matter what’s popping at the moment. My music will always be varied and about what I experience, no fake shit!

What are you up to these days?

I’m working out, playing ball and recording new music so when I come out of this quarantine, I’ll have even more songs in the archives.

How do you bring some routine into your days?

I work out before I eat, then I have breakfast. I shower, get dressed and see what the day brings.

What’s your utopia?

Living on an island with my girl, watching a crazy sunset every evening.

The fact that our brothers and sisters of colour are being killed, still being abused and prejudiced, makes my blood boil

What artists are you listening to?

Gunna, Tyler, The Creator, K1D, Tame Impala and Khalid are all artists I can listen to daily. Also, I can’t forget myself!

What makes your heart go faster these days?

The fact that our brothers and sisters of colour are being killed, still being abused and prejudiced, makes my blood boil.

What are you doing daily ?

At 9 pm I usually start recording music, through the late night, and at 9 am I’m still sleeping.

What satisfies you?

Whenever I make a catchy hook to a beat I love, I get instant satisfaction every time.

What’s your favorite lockdown book?

I’m currently reading The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. So far it’s a great read!

What would you like to be doing in 10 years?

I would love to have my music popping like crazy and own an independent business. And just help a lot of people in need.

How does the current crisis make you feel?

At the start, it was nice because the world finally slowed down, but now I’m kind of sick of this shit.

What is the latest/future project you are working on?

I’m currently working on a lot of music for my first EP. It’s very exciting ‘cuz I’m experimenting with a lot of new sounds and genres.

What will the second part of 2020 bring you?

Refreshment and a new me.

Who is the person that most influenced you throughout your development in life?

My mother, she was both my dad and mom throughout my whole life. She shaped me and I am how I am because of her. Love her to death.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned lately?

Depend on nobody, do everything yourself the way you envision it. And do it all in silence.
